Most people use SMART goals to make plans in order to achieve their goals. Making a plan is not that hard. The hard thing is making a plan that can be turned into reality. We all make plans to achieve our goals, however according to researches less than 10 percent of the people feel they achieved their goals. So many of us can’t complete the challenge. Here’s how to create a plan with achievable goals.
Your goals must be SMART
SMART goals are the best when it comes to plan achievable and successful goals. Shortly your goals must be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time setted (SMART).
Always set mini goals as milestones
It might seem hard and complicated to reach higher goals. For example if you want to earn $15,000 per month and if it seems high for you, you need to set mini goals to reach in a specific timeline. Reaching $5,000 might be the first milestone to reach in three months. Then you can pass to the second one, which is $10,000 in the other three months. These will help you reach your highest goals easier and keep you on track.
Write your path and decide what you need
If you want to reach your goals, you should get out your comfort zone and take actions. You may need to take lessons, work hard, develop your skills and so many other things. These take time and effort. So you need to decide what you want to and need to do in order to achieve your goals.
Create a timeline
When you decide what you need to do, then you should put them into a realistic timeline in order to track yourself. You may make a daily plan or a weekly plan. Whatever you do, you need to make sure it’s realistic. Don’t go on yourself too hard, if you don’t want to give up. However you should be getting out of your comfort zone an achieve your goal as soon as possible.
